Anna Catron

April 30, 1941 — March 19, 2023

Anna Mae Catron entered her heavenly home at the age of 81 on March 21, 2023, in Wyandotte, OK.

Her celebration of life services will be held at 11:00AM, March 23, 2023 at the Corner Post Cowboy Church with Sam Andrews officiating. Burial will follow at Kansas, OK Cemetery. Visitation hours will be held from 1:00PM-7:00PM, Wednesday, March 22, 2023, with the family receiving friends from 5:00PM-7:00PM at Hart Funeral Home in Tahlequah, OK.

Anna was born April 30, 1941 in Broken Arrow, OK to Mack and Susan (Bearskin) Tussinger. She grew up in Flint, OK and graduated from Colcord High School in 1958. Anna then attended Bentonville Community College and later attended Northeastern State University.

On December 16, 1971, Anna married Dale Catron of Stilwell, OK. Soon after, they moved to Kansas, OK where they made their home with their 6 children and enjoyed 45 years together.

Anna was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Nothing made her happier than a house full of family. She loved watching her children and grandchildren playing all their different sports and supporting them in all their interests. Anna was a strong woman of faith. She enjoyed sewing, reading, and was extremely passionate for Duke and Kansas University basketball. In her later years, she enjoyed watching TV with her beloved and faithful dog Prissy.

Survivors include children William Catron and wife Sharon of Decatur, AR, Angie Glass and husband Leonard of Wyandotte, OK, Brenda Lankston of Siloam Springs, AR, Dala McLain and husband Toby of Texas, and Darla Mooring and husband Monte of Bixby, OK; 16 grandchildren Lacy Rivas, Josh Catron, Leslie Caudle, Weslie Mahan, Jason Lankston, Gregory Lankston, Jordan Cochran, Tessa Brown, Lindsay Cooper, Kenny Glass, Carey Glass, Courtney Glass, Whitney Hanus, Madison Jose, Will McLain and Ben McLain; 23 Great Grandchildren, one great grandchild and her spoiled chihuahua "Prissy" and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Anna was preceded in death by her husband Dale, her parents Mack and Susan, one son, Kenneth Catron, and her 5 siblings, Walter Tussinger, Leroy Tussinger, Betty Holland, Mary Wood, and David Tussinger.
